Hello, I am Turkish Hamam Peshtemal. I am a design product carrying cultural values woven on a karatezgah. In order to create a sustainable economy and protect cultural values, I am produced with housewives living in different provinces of Turkey with the social responsibility approach of my designer and Design Storyteller. You can also call me astek patterned peshtemal. I am woven with 100% cotton by women on a karate loom in Denizli, Turkey.
I absorb water easily, can be easily machine washed at 30 degrees and dry fast. I measure 90×175 cm, weigh 0.318 grams and have red and white colors. I am designed with motifs that express unity and equality in Anatolia. I can stay alive in your life for a long time without my colors ever fading. I am part of Design Storyteller’s peshtemal collection of cultural products. You can use me comfortably on the beach, in the pool, in the Turkish bath, by the water, at the spa, in yoga. Perhaps you may also prefer to use me as a blanket in cold weather, as a sofa shawl, tablecloth or towel in the bathroom.
